Tripo AI
Tripo AI is an AI-powered 3D creation platform that turns text prompts, single images, sketches, and multi-view references into production-ready 3D models for games, animation, AR/VR, product visualization, and 3D printing.
Tripo AI is an end-to-end AI 3D generation platform designed for game developers, 3D artists, designers, studios, makers, and developers who want to create 3D assets without modeling every object manually. Its core workflows include Text to 3D, Image to 3D, and Multi-view to 3D, with multi-view generation supporting multiple reference images for more accurate reconstruction.
The platform currently offers different generation approaches for professional workflows. Tripo V3.1 is positioned as its high-precision model for demanding production and 3D-printing use cases, while Tripo P1 focuses on refined low-poly geometry for games, mobile assets, stylized models, and lightweight AR/VR experiences.
Beyond initial generation, Tripo provides AI texturing, Smart Mesh and retopology, semantic segmentation, mesh completion, polygon reduction, rigging, and animation. High Detail Model can generate assets with up to approximately 2 million polygons, while Smart Mesh targets production-friendly quad meshes ranging from about 500 to 50,000 polygons.
Tripo can automatically rig compatible characters and supports animation workflows and animation retargeting. Its developer API exposes generation, texturing, mesh processing, rigging, animation, image generation, and file-management endpoints for integrating Tripo into other products or automated workflows.
Models can currently be exported in GLB, USD, FBX, OBJ, STL, and 3MF, covering game engines, professional 3D tools, web/AR workflows, and 3D printing. Official integrations are available for tools including Blender, Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, Cocos Creator, and ComfyUI.
Current plans include Free, Pro, Max, and Team. Free provides 200 monthly credits and public, non-commercial models. Pro provides 3,000 monthly credits, 10 concurrent tasks, private models, commercial use, batch generation, and DCC Bridge access. Max increases this to 25,000 credits and 100 concurrent tasks, while Team provides 90,000 monthly credits and collaborative workspace features.
