Talo is an AI-powered live interpretation platform designed to help businesses communicate across language barriers during online meetings. Instead of requiring participants to speak a shared language or arranging a human interpreter, Talo adds a single AI bot to a video call and translates the conversation in real time. The bot listens to each participant, processes their speech, and delivers translated voice output so both sides can continue speaking in their preferred languages.

The platform currently works with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Users select the required language pair, paste the meeting link into Talo’s portal, and invite the translation bot to join. No browser extension, plug-in, or software installation is required for participants. Talo supports more than 60 languages and is built for two-way conversations rather than one-directional transcription or subtitle translation.

Its main business applications include international sales calls, product demonstrations, customer support sessions, webinars, user-research interviews, recruitment interviews, internal meetings, training, and distributed-team communication. For larger webinars, attendees can choose their preferred language channel while the presenter continues speaking once in the original language.

Talo emphasizes privacy and states that it does not retain meeting data. Its security framework is described as aligned with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 practices, with enterprise plans adding features such as single sign-on and customized security arrangements. However, users remain responsible for informing participants and obtaining any legally required consent before enabling recording, captions, transcript storage, or speech processing.

The service offers a seven-day trial. Paid plans are based on included translation minutes, members, and business features, while Enterprise pricing is customized.
