Slite is an AI knowledge management platform designed for companies that need a reliable source of internal information for both employees and AI agents. It combines collaborative documentation, enterprise AI search, knowledge verification, integrations, and an AI agent that actively helps maintain company documentation.

At the center of the platform is Slite Agent. It can compare documentation with activity from connected tools such as Slack, GitHub, Linear, and other workplace sources to identify information that may be outdated or missing. When it finds a change, the Agent can draft an update and send it to the appropriate person for review. Changes are not automatically applied; users approve or reject them through a human-review workflow.

Slite also provides AI-powered search across internal knowledge and connected applications. Instead of returning only a list of documents, it can generate a direct answer with citations. Verified information is prioritized, while stale or unverified sources receive lower trust signals. Search is permission-aware, so users only receive information they are authorized to access.

Teams can import existing documentation from tools such as Notion, Confluence, and Google Docs, as well as Word, Markdown, and HTML files. Slite also supports integrations and embedded content from a wide range of workplace tools.

Slite includes MCP access on every plan, allowing external AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, and other compatible agents to access the company knowledge base while preserving permissions and approval workflows. Developers can also use Slite's API to search, create, update, and automate documents.

For security, Slite provides SOC 2 Type II and GDPR compliance, EU-hosted infrastructure, encryption in transit and at rest, role-based permissions, auditability, and additional enterprise controls. Slite states that customer data is not used to train external AI models.
