Every software plan includes Puzzle’s AI Suite: AI Chat, which answers questions using the company’s actual accounting data; AI Cowork, which prepares accounting tasks such as matching invoices, finding subscriptions, and identifying missing receipts; and AI Close, which assists with structured month-end closing workflows. Puzzle can also connect accounting data to Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Windsurf, and other MCP-compatible clients through Puzzle MCP.
The platform supports both cash and accrual accounting, automated financial statements, revenue recognition, cash, burn and runway insights, spend and revenue analysis, variance analysis, custom charts of accounts, classes, departments, projects, subledgers, and high-volume accounting depending on the plan. Integrations include Stripe, Mercury, Brex, Ramp, Gusto, Rippling, Deel, Bill.com, and more than 12,000 banks and cards through Plaid.
Puzzle also offers optional professional services including Expert Reviewed bookkeeping, Full Service bookkeeping, QuickBooks or Xero migration, catch-up bookkeeping, R&D studies, tax filing, fractional CFO services, and controller support.
Current monthly software pricing is Starter $30/month, Core $72/month, Complete $120/month, and Scale $360/month. Annual billing offers a 20% saving. All plans include a 14-day free trial. Starter and Core include 25 lifetime AI credits, Complete includes 100 AI credits per month, and Scale includes 300 per month.
Puzzle is designed for US-based businesses that keep their books in US dollars. To use Puzzle, your business must have:
A US legal entity, such as a C-Corp, S-Corp, LLC, partnership, or sole proprietorship. A bank account based in the United States. Transactions recorded in USD.
Card purchases made in other currencies are also supported when your bank automatically converts them into USD.
