Opus Clip
OpusClip is an AI video repurposing platform that turns long recordings into captioned, reformatted, and social-ready short clips.
OpusClip, an AI-powered video clipping and editing platform designed for content creators, podcasters, marketers, agencies, media teams, and businesses. It analyzes long videos, identifies potentially engaging moments, and converts them into shorter clips optimized for platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, LinkedIn, Facebook, and X.
Its ClipAnything model uses visual, audio, speech, emotion, and contextual signals rather than relying only on spoken transcripts. This allows it to process interviews and podcasts as well as gaming videos, sports footage, travel content, demonstrations, and videos containing little dialogue. Users can provide natural-language prompts to find particular actions, subjects, events, emotional moments, or topics within a recording.
OpusClip automatically adds animated captions, highlights keywords, inserts emojis, generates hooks, and reframes footage for vertical, square, or widescreen layouts. Its object-tracking technology follows speakers and moving subjects while adapting the composition for different social formats. Each suitable clip may also receive a Virality Score intended to help users compare its potential, although that score cannot guarantee actual performance.
The integrated editor supports transcript- and timeline-based editing, filler-word and silence removal, text overlays, transitions, music, uploaded media, AI or stock B-roll, voiceovers, speech enhancement, and manual reframing. Brand templates can preserve fonts, logos, captions, layouts, intros, outros, and other visual settings across projects.
Finished clips can be downloaded, exported to Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, or published through connected social accounts. OpusClip offers Free, Starter, Pro, and customized Business plans, with differences in credits, editing access, storage, branding, import sources, output quality, and team features.
