Msty AI
Msty is a privacy-first AI workspace for running local and online AI models, building knowledge-based workflows, using AI agents, creating media, and connecting tools through MCP.
Msty is a local-first AI platform developed by CloudStack for individuals, developers, knowledge workers, and organizations that want more control over how they use AI models and sensitive information. Its core product, Msty Studio, brings conversations, local and cloud models, knowledge bases, reusable prompts, personas, AI agents, media generation, and workflow tools into one desktop workspace. Msty also offers Go for bounded autonomous agents, Nexus for centralized model connections and credentials, and Stack for governed organizational knowledge.
Msty Studio can connect to hosted providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, xAI, and OpenRouter while also running models locally through Ollama, Llama.cpp, and MLX. Its Model Hub helps users install and compare models, estimate hosted-model costs, evaluate VRAM requirements, and select models for specific tasks. Local conversations and application data remain on the user's device, although information sent to external model providers or connected tools is subject to those services.
Knowledge Stacks provide RAG-based conversations with private information, while the MCP Toolbox connects models to local and remote tools. Agent Mode supports coding agents including Claude Code, Codex, and Gemini CLI. Turnstiles enables reusable multi-step workflows with branching, loops, queues, and checkpoints. Media Studio provides context-aware image and video generation and refinement.
Msty Studio Desktop is available for Windows, macOS, and Linux. The Free plan costs $0 permanently. Aurum costs $149 per user per year and adds Studio Web and advanced functionality, while Aurum Lifetime costs $349 per user as a one-time purchase. Enterprise and Teams pricing is custom with a five-seat minimum. Msty Go is currently available as a free beta.
