Loom AI
Loom is an AI-powered video messaging and meeting recording platform for creating screen recordings, sharing asynchronous video updates, capturing meetings, and automatically turning recordings into summaries, notes, documents, and action items
Loom is a video communication platform from Atlassian designed for individuals, remote teams, sales teams, support teams, educators, product teams, and businesses that want to communicate through recorded video instead of relying only on meetings or written messages. Users can record their screen, webcam, microphone, or combinations of these inputs and instantly share the resulting video through a link. Loom is available across web, desktop, browser extension, iOS, and Android workflows.
Loom also includes AI-assisted video editing and content generation. Its AI features can automatically create video titles, summaries, chapters, tasks, and calls to action. AI can remove filler words and extended silences, while transcript-based editing lets users cut sections by selecting words or sentences from the transcript. Loom AI Workflows can transform recorded videos into documents, messages, SOPs, pull request descriptions, or issues that can be submitted to tools such as Jira. Most advanced AI functionality is available through Business + AI and Enterprise, while automatic titles are available across all plans.
Loom also supports meeting recording for Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. Its meeting notetaker can connect to a calendar, join configured meetings, capture the session, and generate AI-powered notes, action items, and recap emails.
The current Starter plan is free and includes up to 25 videos per person, 5-minute screen recordings, unlimited meeting length, and transcription in more than 50 languages. Business is currently listed at $18 per user per month and Business + AI at $24 per user per month. Enterprise pricing is custom. Loom offers a 14-day Business + AI trial, and annual billing can save up to 17%.
