Logically is an all-in-one research and academic writing platform developed by Afforai Inc. It is designed for students, researchers, educators, and writers who want to manage the complete research process inside one workspace. Rather than functioning only as an AI chatbot or text generator, Logically combines a research assistant, document editor, reference manager, file annotator, citation system, and supporting writing tools.

Users can upload or import research materials in formats such as PDF, EPUB, DOCX, Markdown, PPTX, TXT, URLs, and DOI records. These sources can be organized with folders and tags, annotated using highlights and notes, and cited directly while writing. Logically supports more than 10,000 citation styles and can automatically build a bibliography from the references added to a document.

The AI Research Assistant can answer questions using uploaded files and academic sources while providing citations for its responses. Logically also supports citation-backed literature discovery and can use external academic databases to help users find relevant papers. Inside the Document Writer, AI autosuggestions can continue a passage, overcome writer’s block, and attach relevant citations from a user’s library or available research sources.

Additional mini tools include a citation generator, grammar checker, paraphraser, conclusion generator, text and PDF summarizer, AI text detector, AI humanizer, word counter, and title-case converter. The platform provides access to models from providers such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Google, with advanced and reasoning models reserved for the Unlimited plan.

A permanent Free plan includes access to all products with daily AI limits, 100 MB of storage, and watermarked PDF exports. The Unlimited plan adds unrestricted standard usage under a fair-use policy, advanced models, larger file limits, additional export formats, team administration, and expanded storage.
