Gigapixel AI is a browser-based visual creation and enhancement platform designed for photographers, designers, content creators, ecommerce sellers, marketers, and other users who need to improve low-resolution media without installing demanding desktop software. It combines image upscaling with restoration, generative editing, background removal, style transfer, image generation, and video tools in one cloud-based workspace.

Its AI Image Upscaler can enlarge images by 2x, 4x, 6x, 8x, or 10x. Users can choose between models that prioritize faithful detail preservation, creative enhancement, sharpness, or high-fidelity output. Specialized optimization modes are available for portraits, landscapes, old photographs, pets, anime artwork, and general images. Batch processing supports up to ten images at once, making the platform useful for product catalogs, marketing assets, archives, and larger content libraries.

The wider toolkit includes old-photo restoration, noise reduction, automatic detail recovery, background removal, image-to-prompt conversion, logo generation, artistic style transfer, and region-based image editing powered by natural-language instructions. Its video tools can upscale supported MP4, MOV, AVI, and WebM files to 720p, 1080p, or 4K and let users adjust the frame rate before export. Uploaded videos are currently limited to 500 MB and ten minutes.

Gigapixel AI uses a credit-based system. The Free plan currently provides daily credits, while Starter and Premium add private generations, batch processing, commercial licensing, and larger allowances. Premium also provides full tool access, higher-priority generation, rollover credits, and support for multiple image and video models. The website states that uploaded images are encrypted and deleted after processing rather than stored permanently.
