Fathom is an AI-powered meeting assistant designed for sales teams, customer success professionals, recruiters, consultants, managers, and other users who spend significant time in online meetings. It works with Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams on supported Mac and Windows computers, capturing conversations so participants can focus on the discussion instead of taking notes manually. Fathom currently supports unlimited meeting recordings, storage, and transcription on its Free plan.
After a meeting, Fathom generates a searchable transcript, structured summary, key takeaways, action items, and follow-up email drafts. Paid users can choose from specialized summary templates for sales calls, demos, customer success meetings, interviews, project updates, one-on-ones, retrospectives, and established sales frameworks such as BANT, SPICED, MEDDPICC, and Sandler. Summary instructions can also be customized to emphasize specific topics, teams, audiences, or writing styles.
Ask Fathom lets users question individual calls or search across their meeting history to retrieve decisions, customer feedback, commitments, and recurring themes. Its MCP integration connects meeting context with AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude, allowing users to create emails, briefs, plans, and other work products without manually copying the transcript.
Fathom can automatically sync meeting notes, tasks, and insights with tools including Salesforce, HubSpot, Close, Slack, Zapier, Notion, and Asana. Team plans add shared meeting libraries, comments, folders, keyword alerts, customer and deal views, coaching metrics, permissions, and administrative controls.
Transcription is available in 38 languages. The newer bot-free Mac experience also provides a live summary during supported English meetings, although uploaded recordings and standard in-person meeting capture are not currently supported.
