Instead of functioning only as a task manager, Double connects directly to accounting ledgers and helps execute accounting work such as coding transactions, preparing reconciliations, creating journal entries, managing accruals, analyzing variances, and coordinating the close. It integrates with QuickBooks Online, Xero, Sage, and NetSuite, allowing teams to work from Double while keeping the accounting ledger as the financial source of truth.
Its AI capabilities include Ask Double, which lets teams query client data, tasks, deadlines, and financial information conversationally. AI Bank Feeds can categorize transactions using client-specific rules, while AI Fix This Rec helps investigate reconciliation discrepancies. Higher-tier Scale capabilities include AI Transactions for drafting and posting entries from documents or natural-language instructions, AI Flux Analysis for explaining financial variances, Automated Accruals, Advanced AI Bank Feeds, and Agentic Browsing. Double’s Autoclose Agents can also fetch statements, code bank feeds, reconcile accounts, and surface exceptions for human review.
The platform also includes task and workflow management, CRM-style client information, time tracking, integrated email, financial reporting, KPIs, a white-label Client Portal, document collection, receipt handling, and mobile client access. Through its MCP server, Double can connect with external AI assistants including Claude, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Copilot.
Standard accounting-firm pricing is Core at $10 per connected client/month, Plus at $25, and Scale at $50, with unlimited users and no seat fees. Each tier contributes pooled monthly AI credits of $1, $5, and $10 per connected client respectively. A 14-day Scale trial is available for eligible QuickBooks-connected clients. Internal finance teams use separate annual pricing.
Eligible Countries: Available internationally, except U.S.-restricted or embargoed countries; feature availability varies by accounting platform and region. AI Bank Feeds currently supports U.S. QuickBooks Online files only.
