Banani is an AI-powered UI design platform created to help product teams move quickly from an initial idea to an editable interface. Users can describe a product in plain language, upload a screenshot or sketch, attach a visual reference, provide a product requirements document, or import a Figma design. Banani then generates web or mobile interfaces that can include several connected screens rather than just a single static layout.

Generated designs remain editable inside Banani. Users can select individual elements, make manual changes, or communicate with the AI through chat to adjust layouts, typography, colors, content, components, and overall visual direction. The platform can also produce several variants from one prompt, switch designs between mobile and desktop formats, and convert low-fidelity wireframes into more polished high-fidelity interfaces.

Banani supports reference-based design workflows. Screenshots, images, sketches, and Figma links can be used to reproduce a layout, extract a visual style, or create a new interface inspired by an existing product. Brand assets such as logos and colors can also be added so that future screens follow a more consistent visual identity.

Completed designs can be shared through project links, exported as images, or transferred to Figma as editable layers with Auto Layout preserved. Banani also supports HTML and CSS export, while its MCP integration connects designs to compatible coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, and Codex for generating React, Tailwind, or other implementation code.

The platform is suitable for designers as well as product managers, developers, founders, and teams with limited design resources. A free plan is available with monthly and daily credits, private projects, and limited daily Figma exports, while paid plans provide more generations, faster processing, unlimited Figma exports, code export, and enterprise controls.
