AutoGPT
AutoGPT is an AI agent platform for creating, deploying, monitoring, and automating autonomous agents that can use AI models, business applications, files, browsers, APIs, and scheduled or event-driven workflows.
AutoGPT is an AI agent and automation platform designed for individuals, developers, operations teams, marketers, and businesses that want AI agents to execute multi-step work rather than simply respond to individual prompts. Its AutoPilot interface lets users describe a task in natural language, after which the system can create, run, debug, and modify an agent. Generated agents can work with documents, maintain contextual memory, plan tasks, call tools, browse the web, execute code, and operate continuously in the background.
For more advanced control, AutoGPT Build provides a visual canvas where users assemble agents from blocks and configure conditions, loops, parallel paths, sub-agents, webhooks, and scheduled triggers. The platform currently advertises more than 200 integration blocks covering services such as Gmail, Google Sheets, Slack, Discord, GitHub, Notion, Airtable, HubSpot, WordPress, web-search services, browser automation, and developer APIs. It also supports MCP servers and hundreds of AI models spanning text, image, video, speech, transcription, OCR, and embeddings.
Its Agents workspace acts as a management console where users can monitor running and scheduled agents, inspect individual execution steps, review costs, receive approval requests, rerun tasks, and roll back previous agent versions. A public Marketplace provides reusable community-created agents that can be added and customized.
AutoGPT is also open source and can be self-hosted for free, although self-hosted users generally need to provide their own model API credentials and infrastructure. The current cloud pricing lists Pro at $42.50 per month billed annually and Max at $272 per month billed annually, while Team is listed as coming soon with custom pricing. AutoGPT also provides a no-signup demo. Some billing documentation still reflects an older usage-only structure, so the current pricing page should be treated as the primary reference for hosted plans.
