Artlist is a subscription-based creative platform built for filmmakers, video editors, content creators, agencies, brands, and production teams. It combines a curated catalog of music, sound effects, stock footage, video templates, plugins, and generative AI tools within one ecosystem. Creators can search for production-ready assets, download them for use in projects, and manage licensing without negotiating separately with individual artists or stock providers.

Its music and sound-effects library is intended for videos, advertisements, podcasts, films, branded content, and client projects. Tracks can be explored by mood, genre, theme, instrument, and other creative characteristics. Depending on the subscription, Artlist also provides footage in resolutions reaching 8K, video templates, LUTs, music stems, and integrations that bring assets directly into applications such as Adobe Premiere Pro.

Artlist has also expanded into generative content creation. Its AI Toolkit includes image generation, text-to-video, image-to-video, video-to-video, AI music generation, voiceovers, speech-to-speech conversion, voice cloning, avatars, lip synchronization, and multilingual dubbing. Users can access several external AI models through the same interface and use a shared monthly credit balance across supported AI tools.

Artboards help users organize assets and receive AI-assisted recommendations from across Artlist’s catalogs. Generated content can be used in commercial projects under the applicable Pro license, including advertisements, social media, film, television, streaming, and client work. Traditional catalog assets must generally be integrated into a larger creative project and cannot be redistributed as standalone music, footage, images, or templates. Projects published while the subscription is active remain covered after cancellation, subject to the license terms.
